Review- Novotel St Kilda, Melbourne

Balancing seaside lifestyle with business comfort, Novotel St Kilda invites guests to enjoy the relaxed vibes of Port Philip Bay. Situated just 6 km from Melbourne CBD and 28 km from Melbourne Airport, Novotel St Kilda is the perfect Hotel to immerse yourself in an oceanfront setting whilst still being close to all the main attractions Melbourne has on offer.

The service and values that were shown are true to the universal Accor standards. Their brand promise, “Feel Welcome” was immediately felt during our arrival with exceptional customers service and speedy check-in process. This was then reinforced with a gorgeous chocolate welcome note and sweets accompanying a bottle of complimentary wine.

“Feel Welcome our signature. But more than that, Feel Welcome is the very essence of the hospitality that drives us every day. It is a promise we make to all our stakeholders.” – Accor Hotels.

A warm welcoming | Novotel St Kilda

As we entered our executive room, I ignored everything else and went straight to the window. The view was amazing, the sun was setting over St Kilda pier, it was a true welcome! After taking in the view I noticed a delightful welcome dessert platter and a complimentary bottle of wine, so sweet and it’s those extra little details and thoughtfulness that sets Accor hotels apart!

We dined in on a Sunday evening and it was fairly busy. We ordered a couple of cocktails and just two main meals. They were a lot of delicious sounding dishes that caught our eyes, after much deliberation, we settled on the butterflied no.5 chicken in chipotle yoghurt dressing and slaw and the chilli fish and chorizo jambalaya. Both were mouth watering and spicy just that way I like it. See photos below.

  4. What a cute diner at the hotel! Your meal sounds delicious and spicy. I want that jambalaya. Are those marshmallows garnishing the cocktail?
