Best Central Coast Breakfast/Brunch Cafes
I don’t know if you know already but my hometown is swimming in some top-notch cafes and restaurants! The Central Coast, in my humble opinion, is one of Australia’s most beautiful and under-rated regions. Located just 1.5 hours north of Sydney, with amazing beaches, great walking trails and delicious foodie spots! I’ve put together a little list of some of the best Central Coast cafes for breaky or brunch!

Green Tangerine
Green Tangerine is a bakery and cafe located in the cool suburb of Long Jetty. Not only does this place offer killer coffee, and delicious dishes the vibe is stellar as well which is why it’s one of the best Central Coast cafes!
Their carefully curated menu is full of seasonal produce offering dishes like artisan sourdough with avo, cashew pesto topped with hazelnut dukkah and beetroot reduction or the favourite ‘The Betty’ which is a gourmet style B&E burger. To accompany your meal choose from a range of smoothies and juices or delicious coffee from The Little Marionette in Sydney.

Like Minds
Once an old corner shop, Like Minds, is much more than a cafe. This humble space lends its location to be an exhibition space, creative studio, lush veggie patch and when its not serving coffee during the day holds cool local events! This cafe is also great for kids thanks to its enclosed garden.
The owners have put love into everything they do and this is shown in the exceptional coffee and food! My favourite is the Smashed Avo with Goat Cheese!
They are all about fresh produce, sustainability & giving back to the local community. Sit back with a coffee in the garden and enjoy a long lunch with your closest friends.
Tip: They are closed Mondays 🙂

Ocean Haus
Ocean Haus is quick becoming a local favourite, I find myself there at least once a week! I think it probably because they have the best coconut caps I have ever found! Or it could be because the owners are super cool, bringing a good atmosphere to match there vibrant menu.
The cafe is part surf shop part great hang spot to sit back with a coffee and acai bowl before you start your day. They also have beautiful blooms available on the weekends!

The Surf Cafe
Located under Terrigal Surf Club on Terrigal Beach this made the list for several reasons! It’s definitely my most visited cafe on the coast. Also my cheeky puppy Jada won’t let me walk past, you see the very kind owner Dave has a very soft spot for my Puglet and every time we are there he comes over and gives her treats 🙂 :)! Apart from being incredibly pet-friendly, this cafe delivers exceptional coffee with an even better view!
